Joyce enjoyed gardening her whole life and always had the most beautiful flowers which she loved. She loved painting, creating many works of art for friends and
family. She was an avid reader and enjoyed baking sweets for those she cared about. A loving and devoted Christian, Joyce loved nothing more than attending Bible class and worship service at Preston Road Church of Christ, and participating in their numerous volunteer and social gatherings. She was a founding member of Sisters Together, a group of Christian ladies from different Churches who meet, share, worship and participate in numerous community service outreach programs. One of her favorite things was playing mahjong with her mahjong group. And everyone always knew she was the best!! But what Joyce enjoyed most was spending time with her family. Whether having people over or going out to eat on Sunday after Church, family time was precious to her. Her live-in family member was her fur baby Belle, a little Pomeranian who was the apple of her eye.
There will be a visitation at Restland Funeral Home on Monday, April 29th from 5:30 – 7:00 pm located at 13005 Greenville Ave, and a Memorial Service on Tuesday, April 30th at 11 am at Preston Road Church of Christ, located at 6409 Preston Road.
