Joyce J. Hufstedler's Obituary
Born December 10, 1915 in Cash, TX; passed away January 10, 2009 in Mesquite, TX. Joyce was married to George Hufstedler on July 28, 1943, and was an avid member of Austin Street Church of Christ for over 44 years, and then at the Church of Christ at The Christian Care Center in Mesquite. She is survived by her sons, Gary of Garland, John and wife Carol of Garland; grandchildren, Cody Hufstedler and wife Jeannie of Denver, CO, Kelsey Balch and husband Chandler of Lavon, TX, and Cole Hufstedler of Flower Mound; great-granddaughter, Judah Hufstedler of Denver, CO; sister, Kathryn Kirk and husband Woody of Garland, Lu Jones of Mesquite; sister-in-law, Ila Cathey of Mesquite; and nieces, Darlene Cathey and Reba Petty; as well as several cousins, other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday, January 12, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 13, 2009, at Richardson East Church of Christ, 1504 E. Campbell Road (located between Jupiter and Plano Roads), Richardson, TX 75081.
