Joyce was the steady rock we all relied on to get the bills paid and the payroll out on time. Always with a smile and grace. She was a great lady and friend indeed. What a privilege to have known and worked with her.
My family and I would like to extend our deepest sympathy. My Mother (Shirley Williams Giese) and Joyce were friends growing up in Brenham, Texas. She often spoke fondly of Joyce and her family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Lon and Family- I am very sorry that we have lost Joyce. I am truly saddened and there will be a big hole the next time SCCA registration is here. I loved that lady, such a gentle soul. Sorry I can't be there to share your grief. Rusty
Our deepest sympathies on your loss. We will miss Joyce's enthusiasm and joy of life. She touched many hearts, be it thru auto racing or indoor soccer.
Joyce was always very helpful and enthusiastic at the racetrack; she will really be missed. Lon, hang in there, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Lon, I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember both of you as two big Sidekickfans, along with a lot of us. You were always so supportive and we enjoyed your warmth and caring. I will keep you both in my prayers. Pat Nichols
Our family loves Joyce McKinstry. She was always thinking of ways to improve someone else's day. She knew how to be a great friend and a dependable team member. She loved people and she loved life. She was always willing and ready, with a smile, to lend a helping hand. She was a great cook and always ready to share a new treat at SCCA Registration. She gave me a copy of one of her favorite cookbooks and it has become my favorite too. Our family is greatly saddened by the loss of Joyce. She will be missed far more than she would have ever imagined.
Joyce was always happiest person I've ever met. Everytime I saw her she had a smile on. The races won't be the same without her smiling face and positive attitude.
As many years as we have been racing there Joyce was, to help, show support and be our true friend. She will be greatly missed and our prayers go out to Lon. There is a sadness that we all share but a joy that will never go away for knowing such a wonderful person and friend.
