Joyce Gertrude Morgan's Obituary
Joyce Gertrude Morgan, 96, passed away April 21, 2020 in Dallas, TX of multiple age related causes. She was born April 22, 1923 to parents Arthur Rupprecht and Mary Rupprecht in Lincoln, RI. She married Robert Morgan on August 13, 1949 in Lincoln, RI. She was a mother, missionary, artist. She was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church. She served in the US Army from 1944.
She is survived by daughter Candice Giles, Rochester, NY, sons Stephen Morgan, Atlanta, GA, Robert Morgan, Dallas, TX, Timothy Morgan, Dallas, TX, brother Arthur Rupprecht, Wheaton, Illinois, nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband Robert Morgan.
Joyce always loved art but never pursued it seriously until all the children were raised. Then she was able to study with nationally known Dallas artist, Jane E. Jones. Bright and bold colors and unique designs have made her work very popular with family, friends and some of the public. She also taught a Bible study class to the older ladies at Church until early 2019.
