Joyce Turner Murphree was born on October 18, 1926 in Nevada, Texas and passed away on November 17, 2016 in Plano, Texas. Preceded in death by husband, Edward E Murphree, Dad and Mom, Lee and Clemensa Tennessee Turner; sisters: Merle Waner; Unimay Oswalt; Vera Price; and Juanita Pool. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Mia Murphree, daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Jeff Gamache; grandchildren: Katherine Gamache; Garrett Murphree; Kristina Gamache, Megan Murphree; Kyle Gamache; and Malannie Murphree. Family will receive friends Monday, November 21, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 10 AM in the Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. The family would like to thank you for your kind words of encouragement and prayers in this time of sorrow and rejoicing that Joyce has gone home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
