Mrs. Joyce Nadine Peeples' Obituary
Joyce Nadine Peeples, 85, born July 11, 1932 in Auburn, Kansas, passed away, Friday, July 14, 2017 in Irving, Texas. Joyce was a lovely woman with a truly beautiful spirit! In response to the many challenges of life, she exemplified remarkable faith and strength. She was a woman of prayer and was continually encouraging those around her. She wrote many poems about life, her Lord Jesus Christ, family, and loved ones. She often encouraged those she loved with the words, “What would we do without our precious LORD?” Joyce loved to quote her favorite Bible verses. One verse she often quoted the last months of her life was Deuteronomy 33:27, “The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms:” She was deeply loved and will be missed by all those fortunate enough to know her. Joyce is survived by her husband of over 60 years, John N. Peeples Sr. of Irving, Texas, son John Peeples Jr. and wife Shirley Peeples of Fort Worth, Texas, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Village Baptist Church, 224 E. Grauwyler, Irving, Texas 75061. Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Village Baptist Church, 224 E. Grauwyler, Irving, Texas 75061. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park. Funeral arrangement have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home.
