Joyce was the lead teacher in the preschool at Lamplighter and was part of the team who hired me. Joyce was the perfect example for me to follow! She was warm, caring, supportive, and always open to learning. I learned from her how to calm a wailing, frustrated three year old by staying quiet, reassuring, and by giving choices to the child. I enjoyed and admired Joyce as she led the children in singing, and I was in awe of her artistic eye as she displayed the children’s art. My life was enriched forever by Joyce.
