We were blessed to have Joyce in our family. Joyce is known for her dedication to her family, positive and joyful attitude and love of God. Grandma Joyce had time and patience with the children too. We all love you. Rest in peace.

Joyce was my honorary grandmother. This woman was the greatest blessing I have ever received from God. She and I attended a church in Grand Rapids Michigan back in the 2000s. Her and Gene quickly became the second reason I loved church so much. They gifted me with so many items over the years and the main one being my first ever Bible. She supported my little kid passions like drawing, doll playing, window art Etc. She even put one of my window decals in her bible just to “always have it with her”. Over the years we kept in touch but not even remotely the way we should have. When grandpa Gene passed away I went to say my goodbyes and was met with real grandchildren of Joyce’s and they told me I had my picture on her fridge. I felt so loved because of that. I will always know and love this woman as the main reason I am a Christian today.
