Bernadette Williams
When I first met George, Jr. in 1972 and started coming to family events, the family was huge. Joyce and Janette and Jeanne always made me feel part of the family and I think they were pleased that their brother, George Jr., was going to get hitched. I have always felt a privilege to be part of the Williams family and now that we are living in the little house at 306 N. Pacific St. and own Mammie's lot next door I am truly a lucky girl. Joyce's laughter will always be in my memories and her kindness and compassion certainly gave this girl a feeling of family. George's nieces and nephews were pretty little back then and now are grown with their own families. Thank you, God.
