Jozelle (Carter) Townsel, born March 15, 1927 in Dallas, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 in Dallas at La Cabeza Care Home. Jozelle was preceded in death by her father, Joe Carter; husband, Antone (Tony) Townsel in June 1980; brother, Mr. Ollie Westbrook in September 1987; Mother, Mrs. Lula Mae (Berry) Westbrook in September 1994; brother-in-law, Mr. Willard Williams, Jr. in February of 1995 and sister, Mary Louise (Carter) Williams in April 2016.She is survived by her loving and devoted nephew, Keith Williams (son of Mary Louise Carter Williams and Willard Williams, Jr.) and many other relatives, long time friends and neighbors in the Hamilton Park Community.Family will receive friends and visitors on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 10 am – 11am at Salem Institutional Baptist Church. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11:00 am. Salem Institutional Baptist Church is located at 3918 Crozier St. Dallas, TX 75215.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association of Dallas and NE Texas (www.ALZ.org). Special thanks and recognition to Dr. Divi Puttagunta, with Medical Specialists Associated of Dallas; Medical City of Dallas; Medical City Plano; Encompass Home Health and Hospice of Dallas and La Cabeza Care Home and its caregivers.
