Juan Jose Cortes' Obituary
Juan José Cortes, age 72, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 22, 2022 in Prosper, Texas. He was born March 24, 1950 in Guatemala City, Guatemala. He worked for Southwest Airlines for 35 and ½ years and retired February 28, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his Mother, Marta Cortes and Father, Armando Cortes Sr.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ruth Cortes; son, Andrew Cortes and wife, Melissa; granddaughter, Alyssa Cortes; sisters, Chita Sanchez, Elizabeth Cabrera and husband, Dr. Jafeth Cabrera, Priscilla Mendez and husband; brother, Armando Cortes; sister-in-laws, Dolores Ozuna and husband, Dr. Rev. Domingo Ozuna, Linda Soto and husband, Joe Soto, Ruben Rodriguez and wife, Francis Rodriguez; nieces and nephews; and loving fur grandkids, Spike, Django and Bela the boy.
