Juanita Faye Burris' Obituary
Juanita Faye Burris, 88, was born in Dallas, Texas to Charles F. Smith and Hattie Mae Smith. She passed on September 1, 2023.
She is preceded in death by her husband Bob Burris and only daughter Teresa Hall.
Juanita was an animal lover who supported various charities, wrote poetry, and watched soap operas and court shows daily. She met several movie stars throughout her life and modeled in early adulthood. She enjoyed cooking and playing poker and Yahzee with her grandkids and bingo with her daughter Teresa. Juanita spent many weekends with Bob at their lake house.
She is survived by 4 grandchildren, Jenny Ferguson, Stephanie Lantier, Meredith Cleveland, and Monica Pull; 8 great-grandchildren, Madison Ferguson, Natalie Ferguson, Samantha Ferguson, Hannah Lantier, Lauren Lantier, MaKenzie Scott, Christine Pull, and Braden Jennings; and one great-great-grandchild, Lyla Sims. She is also survived by several cousins. Juanita will be dearly missed by her entire family.
