Mrs Cunningham was an incredible teacher. I was fortunate to have her for 2 years of English at Bryan Adams in the mid 80's. Mrs Cunningham's class was fun and inspiring. She will forever remain one of my favorite teachers. Prayers to her family.

Mamma you gave life to me, turned a baby into a man and mamma all you had to offer was a promise of a lifetime of love. Now I know there is no other love like a mother's love for her child, I know that love so complete some day must leave must say goodbye. Goodbye's the saddest word I'll ever hear, goodbye's the last time I will hold you near.
Prayers are with all the family and friends of Juanita during this heart breaking time. I will miss hearing about the family and the funny things she shared in her cards, I so looked forward to her cards. God bless you and keep you in his loving care! Angel hands came for her and carried her home. I will be seeing you beautiful lady with the warm, kind heart! Your cousin, Judy Alexander-Cates.
My Mother was an avid church goer and I was there to sit with her, we kept each other awake. I had the opportunity to really get to know her, she loved the Crossword Puzzle any Crossword Puzzle she could get her hands on! I loved my mother with all my heart and am having a terrible time knowing I will not hear my mothers voice ever again. I know the grieving process takes time, I know that but I'm having a terrible time letting go!! I know that someday after death I will see her again. Heaven help me.
Love and best wishes to all the family. We have pleasant memories of attending church with Juanita in Dallas. Always "prim and proper", I never remember seeing her without her make-up, lipstick and jewelry–always tastefully adorned! She was known as a straight-laced, no-nonsense Jr. High English teacher. You don't survive very long in a public school setting teaching that subject to that age-group without a tenacious and resilient spirit. But, knowing Juanita in a family setting, as my first cousin's wife, I always enjoyed her sense of humor and respected her uncompromising faith and fierce loyalty to her Savior, Jesus Christ.
On this day, Juanita had commented how tall Adam had gotten and wanted to compare his height next to her. This was taken approximately 2 years ago.
