Juanita M. Gutierrez of Dallas, Texas, Age 81, died April 25, 2019.Juanita was born to Florentina Castro and Louis Moreno on October 2, 1937 in Dallas, Texas.She was married on November 7, 1953 to the love of her life, Roman Z. Gutierrez in Dallas, Texas. They were married for 63 years. She so loved Roman and took great care of him until his final day.She worked for Susan Crane Packing Co for almost 25 years. Later in life she went to work for The Brady Center where she ran the kitchen and fed the elderly from the neighborhood for many years. She was the light of their life’s and she enjoyed being with them. She worked for The Brady Center for around 10 years until she retired to take care of her Grandbabies. She later returned to the Brady Center as a volunteer.She was a member of St. Edward’s Catholic Church where she served as the Manager of the Religious Store. She so loved her St. Edward’s Family and was known to everyone as Mama Juanita. There were no strangers at the Store everyone loved her and she loved everyone. She was also a member of the Alter society and The Legion of Mary. There was no group in the church that she was a stranger to as she helped every group in any manner she could. She also loved to go and volunteer in the Church Office. She was an honorary member of the Staff.She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Roman Z. Gutierrez, Parents: Louis and Forentina Moreno, Grandmother: Rosa Razo Ramirez and Siblings: Antonia Gomez and Manuel Moreno.She is survived by her Daughter Jeannie Anguiano of Dallas Texas and son in law Mike. Sons Roman Gutierrez and fiancé Rita, David Gutierrez and Richard Gutierrez, all of Dallas Texas. Grandchildren: Roman Gutierrez III, Louis Gutierrez, Gabriel Gutierrez, David Gutierrez, Stephanie Gutierrez, Leah Olguin, Jonathan Gutierrez, Michelle Villanueva, Selina Delgado, Michael Anguiano and Abraham Anguiano and 11 Great-grandchildren. She also is survived by her sister Mary Hernandez, brothers Louis and Ramon Moreno, nieces, nephews, brother in laws, sister in laws, cousins, friends and all of her extended family from St. Edward’s Church whom she loved so dearly.She will be missed and never forgotten. We could never ask for a better Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Sister or Friend. Rest in Peace our Mom who is now with our Dad in Heaven.
