Juanita Henry Higgins' Obituary
Born on June 3, 1921 in Wilson, Oklahoma to her parents Henry Thomas and Dru Manire Allen and went to be with the Lord on September 16, 2016 in Carrollton, Texas. Preceded in death by her parents Henry Thomas Allen and Dru Manire Allen. Sisters Lucy Allen Sweeney, Opal Allen Gillmore, Olivia Allen Higginbotham and brothers Cbe Allen, Ira Allen, Houston Thomas Allen, Phillip Louis Allen, and her loving husband of 69 years Lewis Waymond Higgins, Houston and Jill Higgins (son and daughter-in-law), Dee and Janice Higgins (son and daughter-in-law)and Doyle Higgins (son). Survived by daughter Vickie Aldridge and daughter-in-law Kathi Higgins. Along with eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was a daughter, sister and aunt the day she was born. She became a dear friend, devoted wife, wonderful mother, the best grandmother, neighbor, employee and babysitter. She wore many hats and wore them gladly. She was a giver. She didn’t have much but what she did have she gave freely to anyone who needed it by opening her home, feeding you, loving on you and most of all praying for you. She was a prayer warrior. She had the most loving and accepting spirit. She was creative, musical, funny and her favorite pastime was spending time with her family. The biggest part of her was her heart. She will be dearly missed. Family will receive friends on Monday, September 19, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas. Service will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 12:30 PM at Wildwood Chapel at Restland. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
