Juanita Avis McCoy's Obituary
A strong Texas rose, Juanita “Johny” Cartwright-McCoy passed away peacefully February 19. She has finally “gone fishing” with Tim, her beloved husband, who preceded her in death by 40 years. Johny had a great love for her family and she is survived by children William and wife Judy, Richard and wife Betsy, Jo Lyne and husband Jerry, and their families, including 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. With an infectious laugh, Johny lived a life full of friendships Visitation is Sunday from 3-5 at Metrocrest Funeral Home, 1810 North Perry Rd. in Carrollton, with the funeral to be held Monday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Baptist Church Farmers Branch, 13017 William Dodson Pkwy in Farmers Branch. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to either the American Cancer Society or Vitas Hospice Dallas.
