Juanita has 11 sisters and brothers, Alvira, Lupe, Anthony, Frank, Margaret, Josephine, Joey, Belen, Alejandro, Jessie, and Mark. . She grew up in Cooks Point near Credit Island in Davenport, IA, which was a pivital point in her life. This is where she met and married Ramon Olvera. They had 5 children, Cynthia, Victoria, Raymond Jr, Yolanda and George. Ramon and Juanita have 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Our mother was funny, caring and friendly. She will be remembered for her contagious laugh that could be felt by everyone she met. Her interests and hobbies were her family, her husband and especially her children. Our mom loved Mexican food, music, movies, chocolate and especially margaritas and pina coladas. Juanita had heart problems but her heart was always full with unselfish love for others. Where ever she went she would brighten up the room with love for life. She will always be with us and we will miss her dearly. We Love you Mom. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Royce City Rehabilitation Health Center and Season’s Hospice Care for their love and support.
