In 2002 Juanita met Jim Purdy through a mutual friend who thought they might like to have dinner together. That soon blossomed into love and they were married in 2004. Jim and Juanita loved to travel and they traveled a lot. They soon figured out that a home was too big and too much trouble and up keep so they were one of the first people to sign up and live in the traditions on Prestonwood. They loved the new friends they met at traditions and they had many. Jim preceded her in death in 2012. Juanita was a life long Christian. She loved life and was always the life of the party.
