Juanita Kovar Taylor's Obituary
Juanita Taylor, age 86, of Payne Springs, went home to the Lord on November 16, 2014. Born May 9, 1928, to George and Josie Gragson, she was a loving wife and mother, who touched the lives of all who knew her. Active with the VFW Women’s Auxiliary, she enjoyed sewing, quilting, and cooking for her many family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Josie Gragson; husband, Johnny Kovar; husband, James Taylor; son, Johnny Ray Kovar; brothers, George, Charles, and Buddy Gragson; and sister, Virginia Davis. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Nelson; son and daughter-in-law; Jerry and Marilyn Kovar; daughter-in-law, Suzan Kovar; grandson, J.R. and wife, Jaime Kovar; grandson, Josh Kovar; granddaughter, Melaynee Kovar, and great-grandsons, Seth and Aiden Kovar. She is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, Leroy and Noreta Gragson, Carl and Charletta Gragson, sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lou and Tom Able, as well as many treasured nieces, nephews, and cousins. The visitation for Juanita will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. The funeral serivce for Juanita will be at 3:00 PM on Thursday, November 20, 2014 in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home, with the Reverend George Dossett officiating Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75238.
