Judith Ann Hathcock's Obituary
Judith Ann Hathcock passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior July 6, 2012 in her home in Rockwall, Texas. Judith was born September 23, 1941 in Apple Springs, Trinity County, Texas. She was the first of two daughters born to Vestal C Gaston and Ida Bee Money. Judith was a member of the Rockwall Church of Christ. She was a lifetime member of Local Union 765 Tradeshow Decorators where she served as a Union Steward and volunteered as a forklift trainer. She never failed to serve the needs of her Union when called. For more than thirty years she served as a lead supervisor for Freeman Decorating Company. Judi was the first female decorator to challenge the all male dominated positions as a forklift driver. Prior to her work in the Tradeshow industry, she was employed by Texas Instruments in Richardson. Her parents, her sister, Nelda Lynn Gaston Hale, and the father of her children, Joe Howard Hathcock, precede her in death. Son, Howard Kent Hathcock, daughter, Kema Delane Hathcock Condor, her granddaughters, Heather Renee Stevens, and Christy Lynn Hathcock, survive her. And her grandsons, Shawn and Jason Burris, and three great grand sons, Kaden Burris, Coy Stephens, Connor Hathcock and beloved niece and nephew, Kimberly and Clay Hale of Oklahoma. The family will morn her passing and celebrate her life at 12:30 p.m on Monday, July 9, 2012 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Restland Funeral Home.
