For many years when I was the Battalion Chief in 2 District and then the Deputy Chief in Division 2, Judy made it a point to be sure I was kept supplied with a cup of coffee at the major incidents I responded to. She was a true friend of the Dallas Fire Department and to me. She will be missed in this world but I am sure she is happy to be at home with her Lord and Savior and has been reunited with her husband, Del. May God Bless and Keep you Judy. Judy and Del were very special people, and good friends to many of us through their work on Box 4. Some of my fondest memories with the DFD are of Judy and Carol Flattley making sure that all of us were well tended at big fires. Am picturing the two of them now, having a good laugh about some of the good times we all had together. Nothing more can be asked of us than to live well and to serve others.
