I was very surprised and saddened to read this. Judy and I were very good friends for many years. I first met her in 1969 in San Antonio when she worked with me for several months. We shared numerous hobbies and interests, knitting, reading, antiquing, music, etc. We had sons about the same age. She even helped me plan my wedding when I remarried in 1974. We still stayed in touch when I married and moved to Denver and then Arlington. Shortly thereafter she moved back to the Dallas area and I still stayed in contact with her when she was working for Braniff. However, after she left Braniff we lost touch for some years - I was busy with 3 children, PTA, etc., and I believe she was traveling. In 2004 I found her phone number, called her and we spent over 2 hours on the phone sharing news, etc. - it was so good to talk to my sweet friend again. In 2010 I was in Dallas for an appointment and decided to look Judy up. I tried to call her phone number, but only got a recording - went to her house on Royal Lane and no answer. Since that time I have periodically tried to touch base numerous times to no avail. This afternoon, much to my dismay and sadness I find this obituary and a lovely picture of Judy. I hope her last years were happy - she certainly deserved that after so much sadness and tribulation. I would love to hear from her sisters or her brother - please send me a message through FB. I met her sisters when they were still in high school and several times visited with Judy at her mother and stepfather's houses in Dallas and in Oklahoma. Judy was an exceptional, talented and beautiful woman and her friendship meant a great deal to me. RIP, Judy, you will certainly be missed. Sandra Winkles, Arlington, Texas
