Judy Lynn Morris' Obituary
Judy Lynn Morris was a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother who went home to rest in peace with her Lord Jesus on December 5, 2008. Judy was born October 23, 1946, in Dallas, Texas the daughter of J.A. and Billie Ruth (Wray) Wright Mattingly. She was raised in Dallas, Texas and was a graduate of H. Grady Spruce High School in 1965. She lived in the Garland/Rowlett area with her husband Richard Morris, before moving to Mesquite, Texas. Judy is survived by her husband Richard Morris, mother Billie Ruth Wright Mattingly and husband Willis of Rowlett, Texas, her daughters Wendy Elizabeth Gauer and husband Nick of Rowlett, Texas, and Kimberley Ann Youngblood and husband Todd of Melissa, Texas, her brother Kenneth Wright and wife Roxanne, sister-in-law Elizabeth Wright, stepdaughter Renita Moon and husband Billy, stepson Richard Todd Morris and wife Francis, eight grandchildren: Amanda Moon Spurrier and husband Robert, Justin Moon and wife Sara, Bobby Morris and wife Samantha, Paige Sims Hamilton and husband Seth, Richard Morris, Dean, Dillon, and Damon Youngblood, niece Shelby Parker and nephew Bart Wright, four great grandchildren, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son Russell Dean Whittle, her father J.A. Wright and brother Thomas W. Wright. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Monday, December 8, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. Her funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 9, 2008 at 10 AM at the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Cemetery (no graveside following). The family suggest memorial contributions be sent to The American Cancer Society.
