Sue was always my liveliest and prettiest cousin. When I was a teenager I had her modeling photos attached to the wall in my room. I have charming photos of her and her sister Eloise from the time they were teens. We kept in touch over the years and when I saw her last in September, her spirit was as optimistic and realistic as always. She survived and thrived and was always up for a challenge. Her stories of driving cars from NYC to Florida during WWII are an example of her confidence and pluck.
