Julia Pauline Hogan's Obituary
HOGAN, JULIA PAULINE (CARR) Went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 9, 2011. She is survived by her husband, Alfred L. Hogan; children and their spouses: Joyce and Gary Jeffress of Richardson, Roger and Jenny Hogan of CO; 3 grandchildren and spouses: Jeff and Isabelle Jeffress of Houston, Jerry and Jen Jeffress of Plano, Jala and Shaun Zinck of Richardson; and seven great-grandchildren: Nicolas, Claire, Annalee, Zachary, Meghan, Abigail and Sophie. Born 9/24/27 in Madison, MO to Etta and Willie Carr. She was the youngest of seven children one still remaining. She and Al spent most of their years in beautiful Colorado, where she retired from Frito Lay, and they moved to TX after spending several winters as “winter Texans” in the Valley. She battled Parkinson’s for 14 years. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Texas Voice Project (500 N. Coit Road, Suite 2085, Richardson, TX 75080; www.texasvoiceproject.org), an amazing tool in the fight of this disease. Visitation is on 4/14/11, from 5-7pm, at Restland Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be on 4/15/11, at 3pm, at First Baptist Church Richardson.
