Julia Ann (Judy) Johnson's Obituary
Ms. Julia Ann Johnson, 80, of Garland, TX passed away peacefully on January 03, 2019, in Garland, TX of natural causes. She was born on April 11, 1938, to her loving and thoughtful parents, Jack C. Burleson and Lauraine Trotman in Dallas, TX. She married Dale Johnson on December 31, 1983 in Dallas, TX. She held various positions at Eckerd Drug Warehouse from 1980-1998. More recently retail sales associate at Noel Christmas Tree Store and Handcock Fabrics. She was a member of SMU Chapter of Delta Gamma. She also was an avid seamstress, crafter and quilter. Ms. Julia Ann Johnson loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her spouse, Dale Johnson of Garland, TX, daughters; Deborah Ann Willis of Mesquite, TX, Melinda Kay Johnson of Berryville, TX, Sheryl Lynn Ferguson of Denton, TX, son; Randall McCoy of Smithfield, VA, 11 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.Visitation will be held Sunday January 13, 2019 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Restland Funeral Home, Funeral Service will Monday January 14, 2019 at 2:30 pm at Restland Memorial Chapel.Funeral arrangements for Ms. Julia Ann Johnson have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Operation Kindness.https://www.operationkindness.org/waystogive
