Julia Brooks Turner's Obituary
TURNER, JULIA BROOKS, born on July 18, 1923, in Olive, KY and passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2007, in Arlington, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband Cecil Turner. She is survived by her son Mark Turner and his wife Colleen, one granddaughter, Catherine Turner, and numerous nieces and nephews. Brooks was very active in the Republican Women of Dallas. She was a member of the White Rock United Methodist Church in Dallas for over 30 years. She did volunteer work in schools for many years in Dallas, TX. Brooks retired as the Assitant to the Dallas County Commissioner Nancy Judy. She was a proud mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at the White Rock United Methodist Church, 1450 Oldgate Lane Dallas, TX 75218 with visitation one hour prior to service.
