YOUNG, JULIA MARCHETA born April 25, 1924 in Chico, Texas has passed away October 6, 2012 in Dallas, Texas. Known by her grandchildren as “MawMaw”, which became her name to the family and friends. She attended Abilene High School and lived in Abilene while her husband was overseas in WW II. Marcheta was preceded in death by her husband Leo “Snooky” Young. She is survived by her daughter, Donna McFaul and husband, Donivan of Dallas, Texas; sons, Stan Young and wife, Jane of Denver, Colorado, Gary Ray Young and wife, Pam of Allen, Texas; daughter-in-law Sally Young of Weatherford; grandchildren, Drew and Duston McFaul, Ellen Hall, Scott Young Colleen Mazzara, Jason Young, Marcy Bryant, Kristy Walters, Jennifer Young, and Timothy Young, 22 and 1 expected great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Billy Ray Young; and sisters-in-law Virginia Young and Rhonda Young. The family expresses their gratitude to Walnut Place and her 5th floor family especially Mark, Robin, Ophelia, Mary, Rose and her very good friend Shirley. She was greatly loved.
