Ironically I came across this obituary when I was doing a Google search for Julio. First I'd like to say how sorry I am to hear about his passing. The moments I had with Julio were relatively short but impactful and during a trying time in life for me. He was a close friend of my dad and they shared a bond through soccer...amongst other things. The one and only time I've been on a catamaran was with Julio and my father. The time that was spend that day on and off the boat and the words that were said to me help me immensely. I like to think Julio and my father are sharing a glass of wine together and talking about soccer....and probably politics:)
Rest in peace Julio and prayers sent to the Bejarano family.

Remembering Julio as my roommate and classmate at St. Michael’s high school in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and good friend who introduced my wife, Lynn and myself to Brenda, over lunch in San Francisco many years ago. I had the privilege of becoming reacquainted with Julio after our lives took different paths after high school. He was the same outgoing and friendly classmate from our teenage years and Lynn and I were fortunate to keep up with him and Brenda right up to the time of his death. God bless you Julio and please save a place for us when it is our time to once again become reacquainted in God’s presence. Fred and Lynn Diehl
Quite a golfer. I really like his stories of playing in Ireland or should I say in the wind and rain. His sailing stories made me more than envious but really liked them. Rest in peace Julio.
My Uncle Julio was so handsome & debonair. We lived on opposite coasts, but when I did get to see him, I enjoyed his company tremendously. I feel very sad that i didn't get to spend more time with him, especially growing up.. He was just a teenager when my Mom married Charlie Park (my birth father) & my Granny Park always said Julio was the "most handsome young fella" she had ever seen. I told him that, & he just laughed. He had a rich, melodious voice, a kindly manner, & was a friend to all he met. I especially love how good he was to his beloved Mother, my Mamita. I know he is in Heaven now, with my own dear husband. God keep you & bless you till we meet again, my sweet Uncle
