June Elizabeth Gormley's Obituary
June Elizabeth Zahn Gormley was born June 15, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois and passed away March 21, 2017 in Mesquite, Texas. She lived a healthy and wrinkle free 90 years, caring for her children, husband, mother, and sister, all while denying allegations of cheating on card games. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Gormley a Veteran of WWII and the Korean War; son, Thomas Scott Gormley; parents, Earl and Pauline Zahn; and sisters, Diane Pezzolo and Carol Sopkin. June is survived by her son, Timothy Gormley; daughter and son-in-law, Janine and Kenneth Karnes; daughter, Jocelyn Zahn and grandchildren, Shand Garcia, Carrie Garcia Sanders and husband Mark Sanders, Brian Garcia, Trey Wimpey, and wife Crystal Wimpey, Jessica Deason; four great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed, but her husband John and son Tom have been waiting patiently to say to her “How about them Cowboys?!?” The service for June Gormley will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 1, 2017 in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
