TURNELL, JUNE MARJORIE born June 9th, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois has passed away August 5th, 2012 in Dallas, Texas. June Turnell worked for many years for the surgery department of Southwestern Medical School and assisted for Dr. Carrol Browning, eye surgeon. Her passions were her children and grandchildren, baking, weed pulling, and she was well known for her crochet work. She also volunteered at Medical City Hospital and the Senior Center in Richardson. June is preceded in death by her parents James and Ollie Cook, her 1st husband, Warren Charles Turnell and 2nd husband, Edward Washburn; her siblings, Ruth Kirk and Howard Cook; June is survived by Her children, June Hagler, Joyce Bullock, and Jim Turnell; grandchildren, Barbara Bullock, John Bullock Jr., Donnie Bullock, Cynthia Bronson, Richard Hagler, Matthew Turnell, and David Turnell; great grandchildren, Halie Bullock, Brianna Bullock, Justin Bullock, Abigail Bronson, Adam Bronson, and Audrey Turnell. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association www.ALZ.org.
