Junior Ree Turnipseed's Obituary
Junior Ree Turnipseed, 85, of Balch Springs, Texas was born on April 3, 1938 in Emory, Texas to Gerorge Monroe Turnipseed & Polly Ann Sparks. Junior passed away peacefully on December 14, 2023.
He married his wife, Jean in Rockwall, Texas and served on the U.S. Air Force in his lifetime.
Junior is preceded in death by one sister, his parents, seven brothers, one step-son, a grand-daughter, and his wife.
He is survived by his sons, John Turnipseed and wife, Clistie, Eric Turnipseed and wife, Tracy; step-children, Dean Shepherd and wife, Nancee, Lisa Shepherd, Ken Bennight, Sheila Jones and husband, Dennis; two brothers, Truman Turnipseed & Louis Turnipseed; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He will be missed dearly and remembered by all whose lives he touched.
A visitation will be held from 6 – 8 PM at Restland Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 9 AM in Restland’s Wildwood Chapel on Thursday, December 21, 2023.
