J.W. Golden's Obituary
Golden, JW was born on August 10, 1924 in Atlas, Texas and passed away on May 4, 2013 in Richardson, Texas. JW was a former Chief of Police for Richardson, Texas and started the University of Texas at Dallas Police Force. He is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters. JW is survived by his wife of 62 years; children; grandchildren; great grandchildren; brothers and sisters; and nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on May 8, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held on May 9, 2013 at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Richardson, Texas. Interment in Restland Memorial Park.
