Karen Marie Stuck, born on September 18, 1949, in Jackson, Mississippi, passed away on March 13, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. She was 75. Surviving Karen is her beloved husband, Terry Stuck, whom she married in 1989.
Karen was the daughter of Fosque and Joevelyn Sims, both of whom are deceased. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Michael, Adrian, Patrick Kevin, Mary Ann, and Mary Shaun. She is survived by her sister, Emma Bloomfield, as well as nieces Taylor Hernandez, Cody Bloomfield, and Wendy Espinoza.

Karen “Granny” was a cherished grandmother to Hunter Coleman (Audrey), Addison Coleman, and Faye Colvert (John) and the proudest great grandmother to Carter Coleman.
Karen was a beautiful writer and speaker, the ultimate hostess and cook, and selfless beyond measure. Karen's generous spirit and nurturing nature made her the heart of every gathering, where her presence alone could light up the room. She took the time to listen and support those she cared about, offering a comforting shoulder during difficult times and celebrating the happiest moments alongside them. Her absence will be profoundly felt by all who were fortunate enough to know her. As we grieve, we take solace in the countless ways she touched our lives. Karen’s legacy lives on through her family and friends, and their lives are immeasurably richer because of the countless ways she touched us all.
A memorial service will be held on March 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM at St. Andrew Methodist Church Hasley Chapel, located at 5811 W. Plano Parkway, Plano, TX 75093. A reception will immediately follow the service.
