I was very fortunate to know Karen and her family. She was in my wedding in 1967 at St. Paul's Basilica in Daytona Beach. Her mother hosted a bridal luncheon for the wedding party and others. I will never forget it. Before I got married my roommate Julie Bernard Kincaid and I used to frequent the Surf Bar and that is where I learned to love the Demas family.
