Karen Ann Morris' Obituary
On November 4, 2016, Karen Ann Olson Morris was reunited with her loving husband of 40 years, W. J. “Bill” Morris, who preceded her in death in 2008. Karen was born on January 2, 1945 to parents Francis and C.D. Olson and she lived her entire life in Richardson, Texas. Karen is survived by her son Kyle and his wife Christie and their children Hudson and Molly, daughter; Keri Springs and her husband Brad, daughter; Karla Morris and her children Devin Clark and De’Patrick Byrd; brother-in law; Allen Morris and his wife Jeri and their children Andrew Morris and Susannah Friemel and her children Cassel and Blake Friemel. Karen loved to travel and spoke of the family trips as some of the best times of her life. She dedicated her entire life to her family enjoyed watching her grandchildren in their many sports activities. She loved the holidays and spending them with her children and grandchildren at her home which was always elaborately decorated in every room. Karen loved to cook and was famous for her “scratch” which was a secret recipe hot and spicy snack mix. Karen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home, at 3:30pm, with graveside service to follow. Visitation will be all day, Thursday, November 10, 2016 and family will receive friends from 6:00-8:30pm. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
