Karen Ann Tompkins' Obituary
TOMPKINS, KAREN ANN STEPHENS 69, Richardson, TX passed away on August 29,2013. Survived by her children, son Taylor Tompkins, daughter Tara Harwell, daughter -in-law Julie Tompkins, son-in-law Stephen Harwell, sister Marlene Patterson, brother-in-law Drake Patterson, niece Ann-Marie Patterson, nephew Brian Patterson and 6 grandchildren; Kaylee Tompkins, Collin Tompkins, Luke Tompkins, Hailey Harwell, Hannah Harwell, Rylan Harwell. After graduating from Adamson High School, Karen attended Baylor University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1965. A passionate professional in many fields, Karen found her calling as a Classical Feng Shui Consultant serving businesses and individuals around the world. Her whimsical edge and a love for life were infectious. She lived every day to the fullest serving her family, friends and community with a trusting and caring nature. Karen treasured many relationships in her life but none more than her beloved grandchildren. Karen, aka Grandmom, will be missed dearly. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm, Friday, September 6, 2013 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
