Karin Lynn Buck's Obituary
Buck, Karin Lynn ~ 42, passed away peacefully in Plano, Texas, February 13th, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Karin is survived by her husband of 14 years, Kevin Buck of Carrollton, Texas; her mother, Pat Dreggors of Carrollton, Texas; her father, Doug Dreggors of Allen, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles and family friends. Karin was born November 23rd, 1968 at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas. She accepted Christ as her personal savior at age 7 and baptized at age 11 at Richardson Heights Baptist Church. Known as “Little Red” to many, Karin graduated from Richardson High School in 1987 and proceeded to earn her bachelor’s degree in hotel management from the University of North Texas. She began her career in 1992 at the Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas and was promoted to meeting planner in the years that followed. She worked for several prestigious companies as a meeting planner, including the Gaylord Texas, Sans Institute and Meeting Professionals International. Karin’s true love was being around her friends and family and was a ray of light for all that knew her. How thankful and grateful to God we are for the year’s we had with her. You will always be loved and forever missed. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 6pm to 8pm, Wednesday, February 16th at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave, in Dallas. The celebration of Karin’s life will be at 10am, Thursday, February 17th at Restland Memorial Chapel followed by a 2:30pm internment at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
