I will forever remember the day I went to visit Karisa in the hospital. I remember her arm raised straight up in the air with a clenched fist. She had the strength in her short five month life that others never attain. Karisa was so brave and fought very hard to live!! I will also never forget how loved she was by her parents who stood by her side her entire life. Sanjeev and Sapna took turns morning and night staying with her in the hospital. Karisa was the most important part of their lives and they did absolutely everything they could to ensure their daughter knew just how much they loved her and that she received the best medical care. The Luthra family and their love for each other is a blessing in my life. My sincerest condolences during this time of loss.
