Karolyn Rose Prochaska's Obituary
Karolyn Prochaska, 76 of Aubrey, Texas passed away February 20, 2019, after suffering from a lengthy illness She was born in Tonkawa, Oklahoma on September 15, 1942, to Thomas Z. Hunt, and Annabelle Smith. She graduated from Tonkawa High School in 1960. She married Paul Prochaska on September 20, 1966, and to this union were born four beautiful children. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Jerry Prochaska, and daughter Terri Kirkwood. Karolyn is survived by her beloved husband, Paul; her daughter, Tamera Odom of Aubrey, Texas; son, John (wife Traci) Prochaska of Little Elm, Texas, seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one sister Kathryn Rigdon of Las Vegas, and a multitude of friends. Karolyn loved flowers and seeing hummingbirds made her day. She will be greatly missed, but we know she is no longer suffering and is in a better place.There will be a viewing Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at Restland Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Rite of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church in Prosper, Texas, at 11:00 a.m.Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Karolyn Rose Prochaska have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
