Karon Dee Skipworth, age 58, was born to parents, Aubrey Preston Winfield and Ethel Belle Barton on October 31, 1960 in San Antonio, Texas. She passed away on the evening of Sunday, June 9, 2019 in Plano, Texas. Karon married Randy E Skipworth Sr. on February 26, 1980 in Dallas, Texas. She was a member of the Springcreek Church, PTA President at Forestridge Elementary and a stay at home mom and Mimi. For the last four years she also worked at Great Outdoors. She loved her friends and family with all her heart, she had a heart of gold and never met a stranger, and would give anyone the shirt off her back.Karon is preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey Winfield and Ethel Belle Barton; sisters, Pearl Bederka, Mary Dale and Carol Gale and twin sister, Sharon Lee; brother, Buddy White and grandchild, Paisley Grace Graham.Karon is survived by her husband, Randy E. Skipworth Sr. of Garland, Texas; daughters, Miranda Roppolo and husband, Brett of Garland, Texas, Kera Skipworth and Chaz Stacy of Dallas, Texas, and Natalie Skipworth and Joseph Graham of Dallas, Texas; son, Randy Skipworth Jr. and Sabrina Murphy of Plano, Texas; sisters, Missy and Johnny Ivie of Knoxcity, Texas; eight awesome grandchildren, whom she loved with her whole heart, Kaylee, Autumn, Camren, Layla, Emma, Derek, Dylan and Devyn and one on the way; sisters-in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews who loved her very muchThe family requests that visiting hours be observed on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home.
