HERRINGTON, KATE S. of Austin passed away on January 31, 2010 in Austin, TX. She was born on October 20, 1925 to the late George E. and Mamie Roberts Schetlin, SR. in Dallas, TX. Kate was preceded in death by her brother, George Schetlin, Jr. and sister-in-law, Joyce; sister, Claranna Goodner and brother-in-law , Milburn and brother-in-law, Jim Butram. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, James T. Herrington; children, James Herrington and wife Joyce, Pamela Scandore and husband Gerald, and Scott Herrington and wife, Janet; grandchildren: Rebekah Herrington, Elizabeth Herrington, Rachel Herrington, Hannah Herrington, Bonnie Bright, Aaron Herrington, Andrew Herrington and Leah Herrington; sister, Opal Butram and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends. Services will be held at 12:30PM, Friday, February 5, 2010 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
