Katelyn Quyen Valerio's Obituary
Katelyn Quyen Valerio
Sadly passed away March 18, 2025 at the young age of 18.
Born February 2, 2007 to her loving parents Daniel and Theresa Valerio, Katelyn was a bright and beautiful soul who touched the lives of everyone she met. She was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and friend.
Katelyn is survived by her parents, Daniel and Theresa Valerio; two sisters and a brother, Daniela, Alexandra, and Christian Valerio; her grandmothers, a grandfather, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and
friends who will miss her dearly. She is preceded in death by her grandfather Tu Duong.
Hardworking and driven, Katelyn was academically gifted and was set to graduate at Sachse High School this year and pursue a career in Cosmetology for her love of makeup. An artist, Katelyn was a prodigy
pianist at an early age and later channeled her passion into her beautiful drawings and delicious baking. Her art was one of the many ways she expressed her love to those close to her.
Katelyn was free spirited and never afraid to be herself, which inspired people close to her to do the same. Her quick wit and funny sense of humor could fill a room up with laughter. There was never a dull or quiet
moment with her, she always kept you on your toes.
Katelyn loved music and going to see her favorite rock bands when they came to town. She was Al Pacino’s biggest fan and enjoyed watching movies with her family, especially her best friend and baby sister Daniela. Six Flags was one of her favorite places to go with her loved ones, fun memories that will last forever.
Katelyn will be remembered for her loving personality, gentle soul, and her ability to light a room with her beautiful smile and infectious laugh. Her presence will be greatly missed, but her memory will forever be in
the hearts of those who knew her.
Rest in peace, Katelyn.
