Our beloved sister and daughter, Katelynn Marie Bursby, was tragically taken from us on March 23, 2023.
Our family feels so much emptiness and pain right now. We are completely devastated by her passing.
Katelynn was a perfect, precious daughter and sister. She was also a kind and loving friend who touched so many lives with her radiant energy and beautiful smile. There aren’t enough words in the world to describe how perfect she was.
Katelynn was a very talented artist who loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed the company of her German shepherd Jak, who she loved like a child. She was so smart, kind, pure-hearted and giving. She was an adventurer who loved getting out of the house, even it was just taking a car ride or walking her dog.
Katelynn was always eager to see what the world had to offer. She loved meeting new people, making new friends, and creating lasting memories. She was always looking for ways to create fun experiences with those she loved most. Her beautiful spirit and love for the world and it’s people will never be forgotten.
Katelynn is survived by her mother and stepfather Summer and Michael Carter, her two loving brothers whom she adored deeply Jason Matthew and Alexzander Bursby, her wonderful grandparents David and Gwana Davis, who was also her best friends, her two lucky uncles Gabriel and Joshua Davis and her only favorite cousin Chandler Davis.
We will miss Our One and Only Katelynn Marie greatly, we pray that she is with the Lord now and we can’t wait to see you again “Kitty Kat”. We love you forever and always.
