Katherine E. "Jean" Weldon's Obituary
Weldon, Katherine (Jean) Easley was born in Moweaqua, IL on December 9, 1931 and went to be with her Lord on May 12, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents Clark Edward and Dorothy Dobson Easley, and her brothers James and Alan. Jean is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years James F. Weldon of Dallas, sister Sue Green of Naples, FL, sister-in-law Mary Henderson of Quinlan, son Stephen Alan and wife Casey Chandler Weldon of Garland, daughter Barbara Elaine and husband James Randall Keltner of Round Rock, 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Jean was raised in St Louis and attended Culver-Stockton College where she was a Chi Omega and met the love of her life. Jean was a member of the Dallas Women’s Club and loved traveling, visiting relatives, organic gardening, and bird watching. Service will be held Monday, May 16 at 12 pm noon in Restland’s Abbey Chapel. Services will be held Monday, May 16, 2016 at 12:00 PM in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
