Katherine Elizabeth Sampson's Obituary
Katherine Elizabeth Sampson was promoted to Glory at 4:07 AM on February 4, 2015. She was the oldest of six children born on May 8, 1921 to Bill and Bessie Shipwash in Roane County, Tennessee. Katherine married Paul Sampson August 6, 1937. Paul preceded her in death March 06, 1975. She was mother to three, grandmother of eight, great grandmother of 12, and great great grandmother of three. A beautician by profession, she did not fully retire until age 79. Those she worked with, she considered family. Only the love of God fills the void she leaves. The funeral service for Katherine will be at 12:30 PM on Monday, February 9, 2015 in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
