Katherine Sandkuhl's Obituary
Funeral Services for Katherine Sandkuhl, 97, will be held at First Baptist Church, Dallas on Saturday September 24 at 12noon. Visitation will be at Restland Funeral Home on Friday, September 23 from 6-8pm. Burial will be at Restland Memorial Park. She died here Monday, September 19. She was born April 5, 1914 in Aurora, Mo. Shortly thereafter her family moved to Dallas, Texas where she resided for most of her life. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church, Dallas. She married Edgar Sandkuhl and they made their home in Dallas until his death in 1970. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and homemaker who loved and cared for her husband, daughter and all of her family members throughout her life while always telling them that Jesus is Lord. Survivors’ are as follows, daughter, Mrs. Shirley Bums of Dallas, four grand children, Ben Bums, Andrew Bums, Chris Bums and Katie Garrett; Eleven great grand children; eight great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
