Kathleen Gary's Obituary
Kathleen Wilson Gary, 93, was born on July 13, 1918, in Graford, Texas to J.M. and Arah Wilson. She passed away on October 31, 2011 in Plano, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, A.G. Gary; by daughter Barbara Hapgood of Troup; and grandson Donnie Morton of Denton. She is survived by daughters Sharon Darnall of Houston and Susan Johnson of Flint; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Kathleen and A.G. moved to Dallas in 1953, and were active members of Town North Baptist Church. Upon his retirement, they moved to their home in Emerald Bay on Lake Palestine and lived there until his death in 2008. Kathleen then moved to Plano to be near her granddaughter’s family. A sweet Christian lady, kind and generous, a precious mother and grandmother, she will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 3, at 10:30 am at Restland in Dallas.
