Kathleen Smith Riggs' Obituary
On August 9, 2008, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother slipped away to join her heavenly father. Survived by her husband Gene Riggs,sister Dorothy Phipps, her children Pat and Ed Hamilton, Sharon Ellis, Sandy and Steve Smith. Doug Riggs, Camron and Tom Rigs, Susan and Greg Fedurek. Grandchildren, Cheryl Gallagher, Cristi Closs, Ryan Hamilton, Brittnye Ellis, Hayley Harvey, Summer Olmstead, Andrew & Katie Fedurek, Hali White. 16 great grandchildren. Kathy was a life long resident of Dallas and enjoyed many years as a successful Real Estate Broker. She is a long time member of Preston Hollow United Methodist Church. She and Gene traveled extensively and made life long friends along the way. Kathy’s greatest pleasures came from spending time with her family and she will be terribly missed by her family and friends. Services will be held Wednesday, August 13th at Preston Hollow Methodist Church at 11:00.am. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday evening at Restland Funeral Home. 6:00 – 8:00.
