I am truly going to miss my Aunt Kat. My most memorable moments will always be her just being herself. She loved coming to our house, spending the night with us. She would tell me to make her some kool aid pickles and make sure they were hot! She thought so highly of me and always had a compliment for me. I can hear her now saying “Chanda (cus the R was silent to her lol) you so pretty” and I’d say so are you. She always made me smile. Being around her was a pleasure, I am so grateful that I got to spend as much time as I did with her and that I was one of the last people she was able to talk to. We told each other I love you, she let me spoon feed her water and she just stared at me. She would always say you’re so smart and know how to figure everything out, wish I could’ve figured out what she was trying to tell us during her last days here. She was definitely a fighter and tried so hard to stay, but God needed her more. Kathyrn you will live through me forever and always. Until we meet again, I will cherish every moment with you because you left a huge impression on every life you touched. Gone but never forgotten….love you forever 🫶🏽😘💔

My fondest memories of my Auntie would have to be when me and my cousin worked at her Burger/Record shop. We had fun times, went home with her, and learned how to bake cakes. We filled a huge void in her life, being the children she never had. I know those were moments she was also proud of and it meant so much to her. I will really miss her (especially her noise talking) and I love you always and forever Auntie 💔🫶🏾
